I read one yesterday about a man who called the cops because his wife dissappeared. They eventualy found the wayward woman in their house, under a pile of clutter that had collapsed on her and subsequently smothered her. The police reported that there was so much stuff in the home she had been packratting that they had to duck to keep from hitting their heads on the ceiling it was piled so high. But at least it wasn't two and a half friggin' years later. That is disturbing... I think I saw something like that on the X-Files.
