I know I’ve talked about this before, but honestly, how dumb am I, that I can’t fucking figure out word verification? I swear it’s a conspiracy to make me feel like a chimp.


I was just commenting on a blog and it took me 4 tries to get it right. How pathetic is that? Wait. Don’t answer that. I mean it looked like ahhgiy, so that’s what I typed in. Boooomp. Wrong answer.


So I get a new set of letters, which I was sure, was rytbn, again, I typed that in. Nope. Third times a charm I’m thinking.


I get uvbsw and type that in. It’s at this point that a little asshole elf pops out of my computer and hits me on the head. Then I’m presented with the fourth set of letters, which read, yousuckbigtimelosersogetitrightthistime. Whadda ya know? I got it right.

   I have the same dam problem with it. I turned mine on again but its such a pain in the butt and I think it keeps my readers from commenting but if I turn it off then I get spammers who are so stupid as to go into my archives and leave their shit.

   The worst is when they have the letters all screwed up and nasty looking and then they put ridiculous colored backgrounds on. It’s no wonder I can’t do it, I get all distracted.

   I really don’t understand why they have to make the word verification thingies so illegible like that….and why do V’s always look almost identical to U’s? Argh!

   I hate it too but I was plagued with horrible spammers visiting my sight. I hear it’s better now, apparently Blogger did something to better the situation, so I may turn mine off to see how it goes.

   I always make sure to log in to Blogger first, otherwise it is the double nightmare of doing the login then WV and then it tells me the WV is wrong so I put it in again and then it says I have to login again so I do then it says I got the WV wrong…
   What I have noticed, though, is that if the WV is over five letters long the failure ratio rises exponentialy.
