See that photo? Yup that one. It was taken this past summer at Calaway Park here in Calgary. One of my best friends and I bought season passes and took our kids several times during July and August.

While we wished we were in an air conditioned building happily slugged along, our kids ran ahead excitedly. I snapped some photos and the above picture in now featured at http://www.schmap.com HERE, which is kinda cool. …woodwork! What? Who? My craziness in my demented mind fans. Duh. I was nominated for an Oscar for my oustanding performance concerning this. Fine, it’s not an Oscar but it’s damn close in my book. It’s a Perfect Post Award. Hotfessional nominated me. And by hot, she means hot. Smokin’. Smokin’ hot. See that? I put two random words together and got a catch phrase. It’s going to be all the rave, you just watch and see. They don’t call me Captain Trendsetter for no reason. So thank you Hottie, Hotster, HottieMcHottie from Hot town for nominating me and making me feel even more delusional that I normally am special. Also nods, and by nods, I mean wicked nods to Kimberly at Petroville and Lindsey at Suburban Turmoil for the chance to be awarded the button. Which I need to get the button so I think I have to push someone’s button to get the button. Or maybe they just email it to me. Or hand deliver it on a silver platter. Ya, that’s more like it. It’s amazing how my fan base has grown from one to two 500 to 5000. Wowza. Impressive.

*Edit* I got my button. I had to push lots of buttons to get it but I worked it and got it. I get things done. Done. See how much of a rebel I am? I posted that cute little button TWICE. Oh you gonna stop me? I didn’t think so.

See that bright trinket of love picture? Ya. That’s a ‘Smile Award’. And it’s all mine. It was given to me, by Joie at Canned Laughter. She apparently heard I am a ‘crap magnet’ (according to Pusher Robot) and I often blind people with my beauty and she too, is afraid of me and thinks I’m not playing with a full box of crayons , plus she said I make her cry or laugh or laugh while she’s crying which basically translates into, she thinks I’m the cat’s meow and would totally marry me if she went that way. That’s what I get from it anyway. I’m a professional translator so I know about these sort of things. It’s called reading between the lines folks no matter how blurry those lines are.

See that? Ya, that’s proof in the pudding. Chris said so. She said I’m a rockin’ blogger. She picked me because she thinks I’m crazy and is afraid of me loves me. Thank you Chris for choosing me (I think you rock too) and ummm, where’s my Starbucks? I’m waiting. Ha.

I won a Blog of the Day Award. Whattaya think of that? I’m not sure who nominated me, but it was probably one of my children, who feel sorry for me seven thousands of fans. It’s hard to keep track of them all now. I suppose you’re wanting to know what kind of prizes you win for that? I think it’s a new car, some cash and maybe a little bling. Not bad for talking about icecream eh?

Oh you thought I was going to tell you? Ha. I might let you you suffer for the whole damn day. Or maybe since I have a big mouth, I’ll just tell you now. It was Bella. She thinks I’m the cat’s meow. Well I’m assuming she does. I mean, why wouldn’t she think that? Sure, she didn’t come right out and say that, but I’m quite certain I’m correct on this matter. I’m never right never wrong. Anyway, thank you Bella, I think you’re the cat’s meow too. You do think that about me right? Of course. And thank you to the judges who decided that I am a loose canon and thought that they’d give me an award so I wouldn’t kick them in the neck with my ninja moves deserved this award. Moving on………

It’s been so bloody hot here, like hot hot. As in, it’s hot. Sure, the west isn’t known for it’s humidity but come on, hot is hot no matter how you slice it. Has my husband put in our air conditioner? No. Why? I don’t know. But I may just light a fire under his ass today about it. Maybe lighting a fire isn’t the best route to go, since, it’s you know, ALL READY HOT here.

I must go for now, since it’s 7:35am and I’ve been up since 5:00am and I plan to park my ass back in bed for at least an hour and then I have to get up and do.my.workout. When oh when will I fall in love with working out?
